Farmer Wants Making Babies
Farmer Wants’ Kim Tierney and Chris Newsome are now proud parents of a beautiful baby girl, the couple’s first child.
Kim Tierney and Chris Newsome, who initially met and fell in love in 2007, during the first series of the hit Channel 9 program, are now three including baby Charlotte.
Newsome does have a child from a previous relationship.
The couple, who traded life on farm in Tamworth, NSW, to for Tierney’s home town of Geelong, had managed until now to keep Charlotte out of the spotlight.
The couple had permitted their marriage to be filmed for the introduction of series two, and had announced they were expecting a child by the end of series three.
But they haven’t made any plans to introduce Charlotte to fans on this season’s series.
After a whirlwind romance, Kim Tierney wed Chris Newsome in Tamworth, on May 31, 2008.
Tierney, a thrity-something disability worker, had all but given up hope of finding prince charming until she saw Newsome on a Channel Nine promotion advert for the show.
Jo Fincham, a Melbourne based photographer and farmer Rob Hodge, from Mt Gambier, are engaged after an encounter on the second series.
The host of Farmer Wants a Wife, Natalie Gruzlewski, claimed that the success of the matches has been phenomenal.
