Police are searching for a man who has indecently assaulted six women at a various Perth shopping centres this year.

Officials claim the sex offender, who could be doing these acts with an accomplice, was the author of attacks in Perth’s suburbs to the North including Morley, Alexander Heights and Maddeley.

The criminal activities of the offender started in April and they have since become increasingly frequent and severe.

Police claimed every attack followed a similar pattern, where the offender would hunt for women aged between 16 and 40 years old in shopping centre car lots before indecently assaulting them and then simply walking away.

The sexual assaults would consist of groping their breasts and bottoms.

Police claimed the offender’s first attack dated back to April 26, when a woman noticed a stranger observing her around 11.30am at a Alexander Heights shopping centre. While she proceeded to enter her vehicle the man approached from behind and assaulted her. 

In one night in May, the alleged offender repeated these acts to two other women, including one accompanying a child. 

The sex offender’s description is that of a 30-year-old man of a tall and stocky build, with dark, short hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured work vest and a green fluorescent polo shirt underneath, dark coloured shorts and work boots. On one of these assaults, he was wearing a cream polo shirt.
